George Clooney Get Dirty Campaigning For Award Recognition

Poor George Clooney says that he feels “unclean” after awards season.  The 50-year-old Clooney began humanitarian work in Sudan in 2005 after “campaigning” to be recognized for his movie achievements left him feeling the need to do something more meaningful and beneficial to the world.

George says: “I had just come out of Oscar season and you really do campaign, like kissing babies.”  “By the time it’s over, you sort of feel unclean.”  “You want to do something that makes you feel better.”

Following his first trip to the war-torn country with his father, George donated money to build a well and huts, but soon learned that others means to help might be more useful.

He explained: “A year later, the next-door villagers, who wanted water and needed shelter, killed some people to get to that well and shelter.“  “It’s devastating. We have to be very careful – sometimes helping is not throwing money at a problem.”

George believes other celebrities should follow his lead and use their positions to help the world.
He added to Marie Claire magazine: “There is ever more attention on celebrity than ever – and there is a use for that besides selling products.”

“We can’t make policy but we can ‘encourage’ politicians more than ever before.”

Audrina Patridge Sizzles In A Barely There White Bathing Suit for FHM – Photos

Reality star Audrina Patridge, 26,  sizzles in a white monokini for FHM Mag.  Audrina rose to fame with her part on the show “The Hills” and will be returning to your TV screens with her new reality show “Audrina.”    The show is  based on her professional and personal life and will be premiering this week on MTV.  The show will feature her mom, dad,  sisters Casey & Samantha and her brother Marky.

Audrina spoke to FHM Magazine about the filming of her new show with her family and boyfriend.  She said: “Usually when I pose it’s all about being full-on sexy, but in this shoot I was able to dance around, have fun and flirt with the camera and it meant the photos were really cool.”

“The Hills was about living in Hollywood, but Audrina! is about everything that’s going on in my life. It gets pretty intense at times. Especially when my family are arguing, or I’m fighting with Corey.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz made their first appearance as a married couple since their secret weddin. The two were seen holding hands at the airport in NYC on Friday.

Their destination is unknown, but one thing is for sure: 41-year-old Weizs will begin shooting 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' in Australia soon.

The acytress and her 43-year-old 'Dream House' costar tied the knot in upstate New York June 24.

Last November, Weizs split from her partner of six years, Darren Aronofsky with whom she has a 5-year-old son, Henry.

The Oscar-winning actress flaunted her too-hot bikini body, as she was clad in a hot pink number and a silver two-piece swimsuit during a yacht vacation aboard Steven Spielberg's luxury vessel.

With her young children Apple and Moses along for the adventure, as well as her brother Jake, the group cruised around the Mediterranean Sea while partaking in fun-filled activities including jet-skiing and other water toys.

Miss Paltrow also made sure to keep up on her fitness routine - which can be attributed to her fabulous physique - as she spent plenty of time running on Spielberg's workout machine located on the deck of the yacht.

Pink Reveals Meaning Behind Baby Willow's Name

What's in a name? Pink and husband Carey Hart welcomed daughter Willow Sage Hart into the world last month, and the singer revealed their reasoning behind her unusual name and how the new family is adjusting to their brand new baby.

"The willow is my favorite tree. I grew up near one. It's the most flexible tree in nature and nothing can break it - no wind, no elements," Pink told PEOPLE about the nature-inspired name for her little girl. "It can bend and withstand anything. I love that sentiment. I want that for her."

Her middle name also has a special meaning -- but Pink said it also just sounded cool.
"Sage is cleansing and sacred," she said. "And it sounded great together. It doesn't hurt that her last name is Hart -- flexible cleansed heart."

Though all is well with the happy family now, Willow gave her parents a hard time during her June 2 birth -- something that doesn't surprise the singer one bit.

"She was in the frank breech position, which is head up with her legs up by her head in a pike position. We tried everything to turn her around," Pink said, who ended up having to have a C-section. "Turns out this little girl had other plans -- she is my daughter, after all."

And now Pink and Hart are adjusting to life as all new parents do, but the singer said it's not as bad as some people make it seem.

"[Willow's] been amazing. Everyone gives you this terrifying picture of no sleep at all, bickering which leads to divorce ... they made it sound like waterboarding," she said of parenthood. "It's not that bad! I think I've cried more than she has and that's just because I'm emotional and a little nuts."

The singer has also been sharing tidbits of her new life as "Mommy" on Twitter.

"My life was once whiskey, tears, and cigarettes ... now it's snot, tears, and the color of poop. bliss," the singer Tweeted when Willow was just two weeks old. "I do miss the whiskey though."

"yeah!!!!!!!! up all night!!!! reliving my past... i've just replaced techno music with ocean sounds- glow sticks with night lights," she wrote on June 28, clearly up with baby Willow.

"ok, I'm spent. little girl is hungry. time for a milkshake. :) that just means i dance while she's nursing," the new mom also wrote on June 30.

Casey Anthony Gets 1 Year for Each Count

She sighed utter relief and cracked a smile earlier this week when she was deemed not guilty of killing her 2-year-old daughter, but today (July 7) Casey Anthony faced the judge to receive punishment for lying to police officers.

The mother of the late Caylee Anthony was given one year in jail for each count of lying to investigators minus time already served - which comes out to around one year left in lockup (though she could be let out of the slammer as soon as one month from now).

While lawyers argued that the multiple counts were double jeopardy - the judge dismissed the notion and ordered that all four misdemeanor convictions be served consecutively.

Along with the jail sentence, Miss Anthony was slapped with a $1,000 fine for her wrongdoings, which shouldn't be an issue seeing that literary agents and publicists have said that the 25-year-old mother could make upwards of $750,000 with a book deal resulting from the case.

Looking for a caffeinated pick-me-up, Pippa Middleton was spotted hitting up a Starbucks café in London, England today (July 7).

Sporting a floral dress with black sunglasses and a black jacket, the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister did her best to ignore the paparazzi as she made her way down the street to take care of her day’s to-do list.

And given that Pippa’s posterior is the object of much envy, International Movement Consultant Ivana Daniell has offered advice on how to get a bottom like Miss Middleton’s- Pilates.

An insider claimed, “Kim and Kris have been filming different parts of their lives, including wedding prep, but their show hinges on Kris’s contract negotiations. Currently he’s a free agent, but it all depends on what teams he ends up with and their rules for their players and outside commitments.”

“If he is given time and the okay, he and Kim will do their own show. But if his other obligations force him to not film as much, then they will just put all the stuff they’ve shot toward Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

Charlie Hatches Plan to Ruin Ashton's 'Men' Debut

Charlie Sheen has lost every lawsuit against his ex-bosses at 'Two and a Half Men,' but now he has another play to harm the show that kicked him to the curb.

"Charlie's upcoming roast on Comedy Central is set to go head to head against Ashton's debut episode of 'Two and a Half Men' on September 19," a Comedy Central source tells me. "If you think this is a coincidence then you are nuts."

There will be plenty of material to go on at the roast, considering Charlie's bizarre behavior that led to him being fired, and insiders tell me nothing is off-limits.

"This is Charlie getting the last laugh. He doesn't care what they say about him at the roast as long as the show kills CBS in the ratings," a friend of the actor's tells me. "Charlie has a thick skin and can laugh at himself but if you hurt him, like he thinks Chuck Lorre did, then he doesn't forget."

While nothing will be off limits in the Sheen-ripping department, one of his exes -- Brooke Mueller -- has warned of a lawsuit if she's the butt of any jokes. "He better not go there," Brooke's rep told TMZ.

The eyebrow-raising timing of the special was first reported by the Hollywood Reporter. A Comedy Central rep claimed it was merely due to the fact the channel didn't have anything else planned.

"It's definitely fortuitous timing for us," a rep for the cable channel told THR. "Everything aligned. We were dark with 'Daily Show' and Colbert, and yes, you have the premiere of 'Two and a Half Men.'"

Lady Gaga Is 'Sick and Obsessed with her Weight'

Forget the 'Edge of Glory,' according to a report from Star magazine (via Radar Online), Lady Gaga is on a dangerous edge when it comes to her health. From her eating habits to her extreme self-scrutinizing, apparently it is just a matter of time before Gaga's unhealthy lifestyle catches up with her.

"Those who have worked with her on tour reported to me that Gaga barely ate for weeks at a time to fit into her costume," investigative journalist, Ian Halperin told Star. "She is sick and obsessed with her weight. One friend told me, Gaga will stare at herself in the mirror for hours on end, analyzing and critiquing her body. It's an unhealthy obsession."

But fitting into her outrageous and often barely there get-ups isn't the only reason Gaga is so concerned with her body -- according to Halperin, she uses her outlandish wigs and perfectly toned body to distract from the side affects of her Lupus -- a disease she has publicly admitted to battling. The disease has reportedly caused the mother monster to lose hair and break out in red blotches all over her body.

But Halperin who has been investigating Gaga for the past 12 months explains that her disease and her weight problems are not her only demons.

"Her drug use started young," he explained. "From heroin to cocaine and ecstasy, her friends say that she has done every drug conceivable. You name it she has done it. She's morphed into this caricature called Lady Gaga, who isn't even a real person. The girl known as Stefi to her friends and family has all but disappeared."

Although we imagine that it's only human to be somewhat self-scrutinizing when you're performing in front of millions, we hope that Gaga can take her own 'Born This Way' advice.

Bow Wow: I’m A Daddy!

He’s practically grown up in the public eye, and now rapper Bow Wow has shared that he’s a father to a little girl.

He took to his website to share the news, writing, "For the past three years [I've] been battling life. I felt as if I had no purpose to live (Thinking selfishly) until God gave me the illest gift of my life. No [Lamborghini], no [American Express Black Card] nothing amounts to my lil girl."

Bow Wow continued, "I was nervous on how yall would look at me. My lil girl is getting BIG fast. I love every minute of it. She inspires me to go harder. Even made me treat my mother better, it's like it made me into a man overnight."

Declining to name the baby’s mother, Bow Wow noted, "Baby gotta stay with they momma and all dat bull. I hate that! So i have to fly 5 hrs away to see her. This is my first. Shai Shai daddy love u too!"

HP hires Russell Brand for TouchPad

Hewlett-Packard has hired British actor, Russell Brand for promoting its TouchPad computer tablet.

The actor features in a serious of videos offering a funny look at some of the major features of the tablet. H takes users though brief details of some of the major functionality of the tablet combining marketing talk and humor.

Analysts say that the tablet is priced inline with rival Apple iPad but is behind in quality and features. TouchPad lacks a rear-facing camera and is only available on WiFi version now. The company is planning to launch a cellular version later.

Jon Rubinstein, senior vice president of Hewlett-Packard’s Palm Global Business Unit surprising said that the company knows about the issues and will work to address them soon.

“The good news is that most of the issues they cite are already known to us and will be addressed in short order by over-the-air software and app catalog updates,” Rubinstein wrote in a memo to the company staff.

Experts say that HP has the advantage of a large base of loyal customers but it will have to develop an ecosystem for developers to have a large app base.

Getting in some high-paced action, Robert Pattinson was spotted filming a shooting scene for “Cosmopolis” last night (July 6).

The “New Moon” stud wielded a gun as he did a few outdoor takes on the Toronto, Canada downtown set before spending time with his fans once wrapped up.

In tabloid news, Robert is the subject of yet another relationship rumor, and this time he’s said to have ditched Kristen Stewart for Caitlin Cronenberg, the daughter of “Cosmopolis” director David Cronenberg.

However, the claims have no merit and Gossip Cop is reporting that things are merely “friendly” between Rob and Caitlin.

Justin Timberlake to Create MySpace Talent Competition?

Last week it was announced Justin Timberlake is planning on bringing MySpace back and now it's rumored he may also bring to life a new talent competition through the social networking site.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Timberlake and his longtime manager Johnny Wright are formulating plans to revamp MySpace with a new gimmick to get people excited about the struggling site.

"Whether it becomes a talent competition or something like that, those are things that we will still flesh out," said Wright, who added that their plans will be hashed out in time for a Aug. 17 press conference. "We definitely want to bring the industry back to MySpace to really look at the talented people that have put their faces there."

In case you forgot, MySpace, which originated in 2003, was an outlet for emerging bands and musicians to showcase their talents before Facebook all but took over the social networking industry. Now with Timberlake involved, those behind MySpace are hoping to bring the music focus back to the site.

Last week, news broke that Timberlake has minority stake in MySpace, and he hopes to work with its new owners, Specific Media, to bring the site back to its original entertainment roots.

"There's a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect," Timberlake said in a statement last week. "MySpace has the potential to be that place ... I'm excited to help revitalize MySpace by using its social media platform to bring artists and fans together in one community."

So start brushing up on your talents -- whatever they may be --for whenever Timberlake's MySpace plans come to fruition.

Kerr continued, “For me, it really works. I love it. I do a combination of Kundalina and Hatha yoga and I’m also training as well."

LeAnn Rimes’ Trainer Defends Her Physique

It’s no secret that LeAnn Rimes has been the target of eating disorder rumors, but the “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” songstress’ trainer Michael Jackson has come to her defense.

Rimes lamented, “People are calling me bulimic or anorexic. These are real issues and diseases- that I don’t have.”

Jackson explained to FOX 411, “I know it really bothers her. A lot of people see pictures of LeAnn and assume certain things. But we’re in the process of putting a video together that she’ll post to her blog so that people will see what it is that we’re doing to get her in shape.”

He continued, “It’ll probably go live sometime next month—we haven’t set an exact date. I know she’s really anxious to show people—excuse my French—that she takes her s**t seriously.”

“With LeAnn, the one thing I do is boxing—it’s all about boxing. We use hand mitts and boxing gloves. For a typical workout, we warm up with about five to 10 minutes of jump rope. Then, we’ll get going with some light, dynamic stretching. But LeAnn usually likes to start boxing first. When she comes into the gym, she’s usually just gotten off a plane and she needs to work some stuff out, so we’ll do some boxing, using traditional boxing techniques. We’ll also work on the core, legs and hips. We do arms more than anything. I know a lot of people think boxing is just punching, but proper technique involves working out the quads, butt, back and core—things a lot of women like to work on.”

“After boxing, we’ll do some strength training, which consists of a core workout. We’ll have our days where we’ll do core, we’ll have our days where we’ll do legs and upper body. That’ll consist of lunges, lunges with weights and squats. For core work, we’ll use a cable machine. Then, we’ll end with some stretches. It’s not anything light.”

As for LeAnn’s diet, Michael shared, “Every week, I give her a meal plan. We’re always back and forth on Twitter—if she can’t get to her computer, she’ll email or text message me—I make it as convenient as possible.”

“She eats a lot of lean meats—fish, chicken—maybe on occasion, lean turkey. A lot of vegetables—broccoli, carrots and asparagus. And I try to have LeAnn eat some fruit like oranges or apples before 3 o’clock. The reason for that is because fruits contain a lot of sugar, and sugar metabolizes into carbs, so I try to have her eat that before she really gets active. Fruits are a good source energy—much better than energy drinks.”

Charlie Sheen Set for Comedy Central Roast

If you’ve never watched a roast before, you might want to tune in for this one.

It was announced today (July 5) that Charlie Sheen is set to be roasted on Comedy Central during a special taping on September 10 in Los Angeles, CA.

Of the roast, which will air September 19th, the “Major League” actor told Us Weekly, "You could say I've been providing kindling for this Roast for a while. It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic."

No word on who the roasters are just yet, but we’re sure this is going to be tribute you don’t want to miss.

Prince William Goes Waterbirding as Kate Watches On

Making for one of the more exciting moments of their Canadian tour, Prince William took part in a demonstration of waterbirding in Charlottetown, Canada on Monday afternoon (July 4).

With his lovely bride Kate Middleton taking pictures as keepsakes, the Duke of Cambridge tossed on his military pilot gear while delving into an exercise in a Sea King Helicopter above Dalvay Lake.

Prior to the waterbirding exercise, the royal newlyweds took time to meet with local chefs in the culinary station - with Kate getting adventurous while giving the local oysters a taste test.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Will and Kate also directed competing dragon boat teams in a race across Dalvay Lake - with Will's squad ending up pulling off the victory before he offered his wife a consolation hug.

With another full day scheduled in Prince Edward Island, the busy couple will close out their Canadian duties with two days in Calgary before wrapping up the entire trip with another two day stop in Los Angeles, California.

Denise Richards Adoption Inspired By Late Mother

Denise Richards shocked even her closet friends last week when she announced she had adopted a little girl, and although few details have been made public about the child we can confirm the adoption was a long time in the making and inspired by the passing of Denise's own mother in 2007.

"Denise has wanted to adopt for a long time and this was something she talked about with her mom before she passed away," a friend of the actress tells me exclusively. "She wanted to wait to start the process until things were calm with her custody of her two daughters she has with Charlie, (Sam, 7, and Lola, 6) and mourning her mom."

The actress started the process almost two years ago and didn't care if she got a boy or a girl. Her new daughter Eloise Joni -- named after her mother Joni -- is a newborn. Denise, Sam and Lola all agreed the name was perfect.

"She's got the biggest heart in the world and plenty of love to share," a friend tells me. "She learned from her own mom how to be such great parent. Family is more important to her than anything. Sam and Lola are the best big sisters in the world, so Eloise is one lucky little lady."

Fresh off of performing at the Mandalay Bay Resort Event Center, Rihanna headed over to the Tropicana Hotel to host an afterparty at Club Nikki on Saturday night (July 2).

The E! reality star lovers were all dressed up as they hit up Sugar Factory for a bite to eat before arriving at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens for a Fourth of July weekend bash called "An Evening with Scott Disick".

Tweeting about his event in hopes of drawing an impressive crowd, Scott persuasively wrote, "chateau night club in vegas will 100 percent be the best party in vegas tonight! july4thweekend"

Chord Overstreet Leaves 'Glee'!

It has been confirmed that Chord Overstreet will not be returning for 'Glee''s third season.

"Well it's been a good year. Too bad its over. Time for summer and starting fresh", the 22-year-old actor wrote on Twitter on Friday.

Darren Criss and Harry Shum, Jr. , who play Blaine and Mike, will become regular characters in the third season.

'Glee' returns September 20.

Maria Shriver Files for Independence!

Maria Shriver filed for divorce from her husband of 25 years Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the papers filed on Friday, Shriver cited "irreconcilable differences".

The divorce comes less than two months after Shriver found out that her husband fathered a child with the couple's former housekeeper. Mildred Baena.

Shriver moved out of their house and, though Schwarzenegger apologized, she went on with the divorce.

55-year-old Shriver and 63-year-old Schwarzenegger have four children together: Katherine and Christina who are adults and Christopher, 13, and Patrick, 17.

The two met in 1977 and got married in 1986.

According to several sources the couple doesn't have a prenuptial agreement.

Making her first return appearance to the grand stage after winning the event seven years prior, things didn't go as hoped for Maria Sharapova at the 2011 Wimbledon Women's Final on Sunday (July 2).

The well-known Russian beauty was upstaged by her lesser known Czech Republic counterpart, Petra Kvitova, who ended up victorious during the match at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Miss Kvitova outplayed Miss Sharapova from the onset, as she battled through each and every challenge put forth by Miss Sharapova en route to a straight set 6-3, 6-4 win.

Prince William & Kate Middleton's Tree Planting Ceremony

Out for the third day of their Canadian tour, Prince William and Kate Middleton were side-by-side at Rideau Hall in Ottawa on Saturday afternoon (July 2).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked things off by helping to plant the Eastern Hemlock tree at the 2011 Royal Tour Ceremonial Tree Planting - with Kate dutifully manning the shovel as William watched on.

The royal couple also are lined up to meet Canadian war veterans and take part in a cooking workshop during the course of the day's agenda.

Once finished up, Will and Kate will then be setting off to the French-speaking Quebec province to "tour a flagship Montreal hospital dedicated to the care of mothers and children."

Also in store for the newlyweds during their Quebec stop, reports tell the twosome will be attending "a workshop at a cookery school in Montreal, for which the couple will roll up their sleeves and cook with the students using local ingredients."

Brooke Mueller Credits Paris Hilton Reality Show for her Sobriety

Brooke Mueller has completed her most recent rehab stint, a 45-day outpatient program, according to Radar Online. Charlie Sheen's ex-wife and mother of his two young sons, Bob and Max, entered the rehab program after an extremely public plea for help -- an extremely vulnerable scene that ended up appearing on BFF Paris Hilton and Mueller's reality show, 'The World According to Paris.'

"Brooke is just taking it a day at a time," a friend told Radar. "She has been down this road before and she knows what she has to do. Brooke needs to continue to play an active role in her sobriety. When she goes to her AA meetings everyday and talks regularly with her sponsor, she does amazing."

Mueller's sobriety is a daily battle she'll have to face. While catching up on a little R and R in Maui recently, photos emerged of Mueller, wad of cash in hand, approaching a multitude of strange vehicles. Although no confirmation of a relapse was ever made, the tabloids went wild with the photos.

"Brooke does still have temptations, she will for the rest of her life," the source continued. "But, that incident was dealt with, and Brooke continues to make progress. There will be setbacks, but it's going to be how Brooke handles it which will determine whether or not she stays sober."

But it's exactly this kind of negative exposure that is helping Mueller to stay on the right track. After watching episodes, in which she appeared, of 'The World According to Paris,' Mueller was even more determined to turn her life around and keep it that way.
