Being dragged around the shops by your parents is not how most eight-year-old boys would choose to spend their Friday afternoon.
But for fashion conscious Romeo Beckham it probably wasn’t such a chore – especially with dad David at his side.
The pair were spotted hand-in-hand enjoying some father-son bonding as they left the up-scale department store Fred Segal in Santa Monica, west Hollywood with two bulging shopping bags.

Sporting a UCLA sweatband and matching soccer camp T-shirt and black shorts Romeo gave his fashionable father a run for his money as they strolled towards the car.
David looked relaxed with his tattoos on display in a white t-shirt and black hat with grey jeans. He casually tied a green jumper around his waist to complete the look.
Romeo has already proved he has a flare for fashion by appearing at 26 on GQ’s annual Best Dressed list – at just eight-years-old.
The Beckham’s second son clearly looks up to his father on the fashion front – the schoolboy was spotted showing off some tattoos – albeit temporary transfers – to emulate his father earlier this month.
The pair were probably keen to make the most of some man-on-man time before Romeo’s baby sister arrives to steal the spotlight next month.

The little girl, who is due on July 4, will be Victoria and David’s fourth child and first daughter and sister for Romeo, Brooklyn, 12 and Cruz, six.
The Beckham boys have been enjoying time with their parents lately and the family of five were spotted on the red carpet at the premier of Cars 2 and Mr Popper’s Penguins last weekend.
With less than two weeks to her due date, Victoria, 37, probably relished the chance to sit down in the cinema and put her feet up.

According to reports, the Beckhams have rented a luxury home on the beach at Malibu to spend the summer in.
The sprawling estate overlooks the ocean and includes a large pool where the family can wile away their summer and enjoy quality time with their newest addition.
